Gum Medical Lobethal

5 Wattle Street, Lobethal SA 5241. Phone (08) 8389 6364.

Gum Medical Lobethal is at 5 Wattle Street. Before the two practices joined, this was Lobethal Medical Centre, and the teams here and at Gumeracha had already spent decades working alongside one another through the Gumeracha District Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital and its GP practices. It is one practice across the two sets of rooms now, with the same billing policy at both, so you can book wherever suits you. Both sites work from the same patient record, so your history is with your doctor whichever rooms you attend.

Lobethal Medical Centre joined with Gumeracha Medical Practice in 2018, and the combined practice became Gum Medical. One team now works across both towns, and the rooms at 5 Wattle Street remain our home in Lobethal.

Pathology: the Clinpath collection centre

There is a Clinpath collection centre at our Lobethal rooms. It runs differently from the one at Gumeracha, so it is worth checking the day before you come in.

Collection hours: By appointment Monday to Thursday, walk-in clinic Friday. Collections run 8.30am to 12 noon on collection days.

Clinpath is a separate organisation with its own staff and its own hours. They are not Gum Medical employees, and their opening times can change independently of ours. If you have a question about a collection, phone Clinpath on (08) 8366 2000 or use their contact page. Your doctor will talk you through your results at your follow-up appointment.

Booking a Monday to Thursday collection: phone the practice on (08) 8389 6364 and reception will book it for you. Reception at either site can make the booking.

If Gumeracha suits you better, that collection centre takes walk-ins Monday to Saturday morning. See Gum Medical Gumeracha.
