Dr Su Nay Ni (“Florentina”) Htay joined Gum Medical in February 2026 as a GP Registrar.

Florentina chose to specialise in General Practice because she enjoys getting to know patients over time and supporting them through different stages of life. She values care that is calm, practical, and collaborative, and takes time to listen and understand the whole picture – especially when life feels busy or overwhelming.

She is a fully qualified doctor completing advanced training in General Practice. She works closely with the experienced Gum Medical team, with supervision and shared decision-making built in. Patients can expect thoughtful care that is consistent with Gum Medical’s approach.

Florentina sees patients for a wide range of concerns, including emotional wellbeing, health changes related to ageing, and skin concerns. She is also continuing to build experience in women’s health, skin medicine, and palliative care as part of her GP training. Florentina speaks English and Burmese.
